§1 Calculators
Reconstitution Calculator
Enter a vial's peptide content, the volume of bacteriostatic water added, and a target dose to get the reconstituted concentration, the draw volume, the syringe unit reading, and how many doses the vial holds.
Educational tool only, not medical advice. Figures are documented arithmetic from the inputs you provide, not a recommendation for any individual's dose. Consult a qualified provider before administering anything.
§2 Calculator
- Concentration
- 5000 mcg/mL
- Draw volume
- 0.05 mL
- Syringe units
- 5.0
- Doses per vial
- 40
§3 Worked example
A 10 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL of water yields a concentration of 5000 mcg/mL. A 250 mcg dose is a draw of0.05 mL, which reads as5.0 units on a U-100 insulin syringe. At that draw volume, the vial holds40 doses.
§4 Reference table
How a 10 mg vial's concentration and draw volume change with water volume, for a fixed 250 mcg dose on a U-100 syringe.
| Water added | Concentration | Draw volume | Units (U-100) | Doses per vial |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1.0 mL | 10000 mcg/mL | 0.025 mL | 2.5 | 40 |
| 2.0 mL | 5000 mcg/mL | 0.05 mL | 5.0 | 40 |
| 3.0 mL | 3333.3 mcg/mL | 0.075 mL | 7.5 | 40 |
| 5.0 mL | 2000 mcg/mL | 0.125 mL | 12.5 | 40 |
| 10.0 mL | 1000 mcg/mL | 0.25 mL | 25.0 | 40 |
